SOLS 24/7 provides youth-participants with holistic life skills
education through training programs on leadership and character
building, academic and livelihood skills and lessons on social consciousness
and active citizenry. This positive and constructive set of attitudes
and values, together with effective and basic job skills, equip the youth with the confidence they need to actively seek to
make meaningful contributions to their communities and to the economy.
Participants of the program are disadvantaged and at-risk youths.
Sols 24/7 accepts an equal number of boys and girls in its program.
SOLS 24/7 has developed a whole range of successfully-proven educational
and motivational approaches that address the stumbling
blocks which prevent young people from creating meaningful lives.
In the training centers, students have become more open to learning
new things because of the positive and conducive environment of
learning through fellow youth/peer leaders.
The institution offers a 2 year intensive training
program organized in four 6-month stages. The first and third stages
are conducted in the province centers. The second and fourth stages

Stages of the Program
Each stage focuses on specific disciplines complemented with practical
application on theories learned. Applying theories to actual situations
ensures that real attitude & behavior change occurs.
- Stage one offers the first level of a life-skills curriculum in the provinces, teaching English, mathematics, and personal development (e.g., developing confidence, a positive attitude toward learning, concentration, etc).
- Students who graduate from Stage 1 move on to Stage 2 in the Teacher Training Center (if they wish and their parents agree). Students who cannot be accommodated in Stage 2 have nevertheless gained valuable new skills and attitudes that will help them to find employment and to lead more productive lives.
- Stage two has similar content to Stage 1 but extends and deepens the education in life skills. It places more emphasis on self-reliance and leadership, as well as developing teaching abilities.
- Those students from Stage 2 with high performance levels and who show an aptitude for teaching become volunteer teachers in the province centers in Stage 3. Others from Stage 2 enter directly into Stage 4.
- Stage three sends the advanced students to province centers and gives them the responsibility to teach the Stage 1 curriculum to new students, under the direction of a Center Manager who is a graduate from an earlier year of the SOLS 24/7 program.
- Stage four, back in the Teacher Training Center, offers higher level job requirement skills training, teaching student management, computing, and other vocational skills. They are also taught how to find work, prepare resumes and write application letters.
